I'm a massive PSO2 enthusiast like you and I am not here to rain on anybody's parade

I'm a massive PSO2 enthusiast like you and I am not here to rain on anybody's parade. I have worked in Phantasy Star Online 2s industry for a while, specifically on the side, and I thought I would offer some insight to help everyone. On which are meseta pso2 the target platform for your name with such a massive release like this, not having a release date confirmed nonetheless is a huge red flag. Much more than that, there has not been the slightest sign of a marketing campaign outside E3 2019 declare. There have not been trailers, nothing, PR campaigns.

Only bare bones press pick up and the conventional media outreach.

Or They have next to zero budget to advertise and launch Phantasy Star Online 2. Looking from the outside in I could confidently presume that this is only the tip of the iceberg in regards to Sega's lack of support for PSO2 from the west. Sega should have experienced a LOT more faith in encouraging PSO2 from the west, and put their money from it, not relying on Microsoft $ to make it happen and hope for the best. The end result is a virtually absent marketing campaign, timed exclusivity on Xbox vs. PC as well as farther away for PS4 or Change, without a confirmed launch on Steam. I hope I'm wrong and there's just a huge iceberg below the water we can't see from the outside. This is hoping Phantasy Star Online 2 comes out and we are all having fun inside and badgering our friends to come play it.

The promotion for PSO2, the gap between the NA and JP versions is like night and day. The JP variant gets video trailers for each upgrade (as an example, trailer for the present deluxe package in the JP version), livestreams showcasing prospective material, each year there is a live anniversary event that physically takes place on multiple towns (which includes a championship in the battle arena mode along with a cosplay competition ), 2 anime seasons and net animations, product, and so on. I'm sure whatever NA team will be overseeing the PC launch will do something. I expect...all the Korean games I have played over the years that the NA teams all have had some sort of flow no matter potato the team is.

You're making a massive assumption. This isn't a big release for Sega (it's just here in NA due to Microsoft's cash,) and it is revealed in the PR up to buy PSO2 Meseta now. They managed to bungle coming with books reporting on it until the PR release was public. The fact we do not have a PC date that is hard is surprising. People have a heavily unrealistic view of what Sega views maybe a revenue stream, which can be occurring because another company shouldered localization's load up front.
