The 2022 NFL Draft is just weeks away. It will start on Thursday, April 28. The Draft is one of the most exciting occasions for football fans as it provides confidence in our favorite team's future. Also, it means that we're one more step away from the launch in Madden 23.
It has been the case that EA has used the NFL Draft as a platform to announce the upcoming Madden game for the coming year. Madden 20 was announced on the first day of the 2019 NFL Draft in April, with EA revealing Kansas City Chiefs quarterback as the player to watch. We have to attend EA Play in the summer for the first gameplay to be played.
Madden 21 was revealed just a few days after 2020's NFL Draft, but it took several months for us to play the game. The first time we heard of the announcement that Lamar Jackson was going to become the game's cover star however, that's about it.
