Franck Muller is proud to introduce the Rally Maya 2023 limited edition watch collection. The collection debuts in the Vanguard Slim case, inspired by Mexico's famous classic car events. Franck Muller sponsors Rally Maya in Mexico for the sixth consecutive year. This 1,100 kilometer journey will take you through the region’s most iconic destinations, including: Cancun, Merida, Campeche and Ciudad del Carmen, and the race will take you to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of southeastern Mexico. The Mayan Rally Mexico is a unique opportunity to learn about the natural, cultural, gastronomic and archaeological richness of the Mayan world. The competition brings together 115 cars and 230 competitors from around the world, including drivers and co-drivers.
The purpose of the Mayan Rally is to conduct transit and regularity races that test the ability of the pilot and co-pilot to accurately maintain a preset speed within a specified time. For this competition, cars must be over 40 years old and at least 90% original to compete in one of the event's three categories: built 1886-1949, 1950-1969 and 1970-1981 vehicle.
This year, Franck Muller launches a new commemorative series of 75 pieces for the 2023 Mayan Rally: 25 pieces in a 41mm stainless steel case, 25 pieces in a 41mm rose gold case, and 25 pieces in a 41mm stainless steel case and bracelet.
The collection is inspired by the racing cars of the 1960s, specifically the iconic Ferrari 410 Superamerica Series II Coupe. Each watch features a carefully hand-painted dial. The sunray dial presents a perfect combination of light green and burgundy, complementing the sporty and bold design of the case. Burgundy details are designed into the seconds hand and flange at 6 o’clock.
As a tradition, the event logo symbolizing the mysterious journey of the feathered serpent Kulkulkan appears at 8 o'clock.

One of the most anticipated nights of the Rally Maya Mexico is the “Concours d’Elegance 2023” dinner, sponsored by Franck Muller. The 3 winners will be awarded the Elegance Award and receive a special trophy made entirely from vintage car parts.
