Eve trailers take the battle to eve echoes isk the enemy and fire up me to go join a nulsec alliance. Just once I get there I get a listing of instructions and corp spreadsheets to dock in case a impartial comes in system. When a neut comes in, 30 folks dock. Then I chose to learn become that impartial in system and how to skip gate camps. God bless eve.

A nullsec alliance was joined by me several years ago and they were big wimps. I once saw a single Gila dance circles round a 4 system pocket populated by 3 corporations, all with gamers who had been online at that moment, and after the first 5 or 6 of them died to the solo Gila (who obviously did not arrive with backup or they would have joined the very first involvement ), the order was given for everyone to dock up and quit trying to kill him.

I, who grew up in the crucible of Black Rise, was like"Let's just reship into something which may kill him! Get some handle with scrams and webs, get in some high DPS cruisers that can chase him down (he was warping all over the area ). I promise you he's got some shiny shit on that ship". Unfortunatly, everyone only had doctrine ships in their hangers. No one has been outfitted with something other for an impromptu battle than a ball of anchored opponents up. I left nullsec shortly afterwards.

A hangar full of philosophy ships was among my least favourite things about my trip to nullsec. The attractiveness of PvP in evehas always been that flexibility. You join the blue donut and realise that noone has ships with matches they're not going to get SRP'd, also the pleasure is simply drained by it. This hangar full of doctrine ships is likely around 2 bil. That is a good deal of money for the dude.

I suppose the SRP procedure could be made better if corps agreed to take action for any boat which gets its value in killmails before becoming popped. Either that, or corps should expand their philosophy to include ships that are enough to cover their asses. The purpose of SRP is to convince folks to come on dull fleets in which they have a higher prospect of losing their ship through no fault of their own. If people don't need to bother undocking random ships to acquire a struggle and buy EVE Mobile ISK have fun, srp'ing their boats likely will not help much.
