Rocket League is already three years old

Overwatch was famously forced to reveal their loot crate rates after a change in Chinese legislation to combat gambling in video games. Overwatch crates are earned through gameplay, are opened for free, and the items inside have three rarity categories: rare, epic, and legendary. Each loot box contains at least one rare item, and has an 18% chance for an epic item, and a 7.4% chance for a legendary item. In addition to these more generous rates, Overwatch also rewards players currency (which can be used to www.lolga.com buy certain items outright) for duplicate items, which Rocket League does not. That being said, Overwatch has no in-game trading, meaning Blizzard doesn't have to manage the "inflation" of items within the community.

Rocket League is already three years old, and developer Psyonix is hosting a special Anniversary Event this month, complete with birthday-themed items and unlocks. The best part: There aren any loot boxes to be seen. The biggest addition to the Rocket League Anniversary Event is a new arena, which features a throwback layout to Psyonix?previous game, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. The major difference is the goals aren pushed to the sides of the playing field like in soccer. Instead, the goal sits toward the middle of the field, with players able to go behind the goal. It similar to how a goal in hockey is set up.

Special items can also be unlocked during the event. Rocket League Items are not confined to loot crates, but players will need to earn special balloons. These balloons can be earned by competing in online matches, and can be used to open Golden Eggs. Each player can open up to 10 Golden Eggs to get new items. The Golden Egg items include new toppers, car skins and titles. Golden Egg items can be traded for other Golden Egg items, but can be traded for regular items. Additionally, all balloons expire right when the event ends, so make sure you cash it all in by the end of the event.
